King Cake Muddy Buddies


Ingredients:

  • 9 cups Chex Cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup sprinkles or sanding sugar

YIELD: about 9 cups

DIRECTIONS:

Into large bowl, measure out cereal and set aside.

In microwaveable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter for 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla.

Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into two 1-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag.

Add half the powdered sugar and sprinkles to each bag. Seal bags; shake until well coated. Spread on parchment paper to cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
